Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr first made an appearance in 1990 as the lead singer of The Corrs, a Celtic folk and pop rock group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish singer musician songwriter and actor. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was presented to Andrea Corr. She is popular for the Celtic pop rock group The Corrs. Andrea plays a variety of musical instruments and is the singer for the group The Corrs. Andrea made her acting debut in 1991. Then, she was an experienced actor and musician on stage. Playback singer for 1998 Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is an extremely multifaceted artist. She has six studio albums two compilation albums and two live albums as well as one mix. The charitable work she has done has also been acknowledged. Andrea is engaged to her boyfriend, a stockbroker and has two kids. Andrea began her lessons in music using the tin-whistle. Gerry was her instructor when she began to learn the piano. Andrea plays the ukulele. She spent the teenage years learning to play the instrument. She sang in the choir with her siblings and was the group's leader following a long period of training. Andrea studied at 'Dun Lughaidh Convent which is where she performed frequently in school shows.
