Ward was the first child born to MonroeLouisianaon 15 April, 1976. Ward attended a private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. Following the completion of her high school studies and then attending River Oaks High School in the summer of her junior-year. There she was part of the drill and dance team. Following graduation, she briefly went to Northeast Louisiana University. At the age of thirteen, old Ward started modeling after leaving the school and relocating from Louisiana to New York in order to accomplish this. In the years following she decided to try acting. In the 1970s, she was a character who wasn't credited in the show All My Children. A few years later she was selected for the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. Late in 1996, Ward was cast as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. In 1999, she began her acting career in films as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic comedy The In Crowd. The movie, at first a failure financially in theaters, but later on video-on-demand (VOD) was able to become wildly loved. Following the film, Ward was in a cameo character in the movie Shallow Hal. Alongside her direct-to-DVD role, Ward made several guest appearances on TV shows like Friends. The character of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 when she was the mother of a young woman on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She has a personal life that includes marriage to director David C. Robinson. They have the name of a son, Cameron.
